If this question is about the tree skirts, they are backed with cotton fabric, usually one of the fabrics from the front.

Update on 8/29: Thank you all for your interest in the tree skirts. The next time I do one, I will do a step-by-step tutorial for those of you who are interested.

I know it is not a gift but I am starting quilted advent calanders. The ones with the little pockets with the numbers.

Something simple to make and is a quick but inexpensive selling item is the "Bag Socks". What you keep your store plastic bags that we reuse in our bathroom trash can, etc. I just use a FQ and sew it into a tube, fold over each end and put elastic in both ends. Then I put a loop type handle on it so it can be put around a drawer knob or door knob.

I'm making bed runners with Christmas fabric and embroidered Santas, Snowmen with 2 rows 4 to 6 squares wide depending which size bed I'm making it for.
