I'm so sorry for your loss. My mom went to heaven 13 years ago and there are times that I still miss my best friend.

I'm glad that she splurged and enjoyed her new sewing machine! And now you have some wonderful pictures of your mom to cherish. May your sister enjoy her new machine. I'm sure that your mom is smiling down that she sees all of you sharing in her love of sewing.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She did appear to love her new machine, and it was nice that you were able to learn and enjoy sewing with your mother for so many years. She is still sewing with you, all you have to do is close your eyes from time to time and listen.

So sorry for your loss. She looks and sounds like a wonderful friend. I'm glad she was able to enjoy her machine. My Mom has been gone for 5 years and I miss her every day. We always miss our Mom's. We both enjoyed sewing although not so much in her case for the last few years, but she enjoyed the things I made right to the end.
