Which pattern do you like better? and Why? My son wants me to make him a ugly flannel quilt. Whats ugly to me might not be to him so it will be a challege So I am going to make him one for Christmas. If you have any ugly flannel that needs a home maybe we can trade. :D

How do you describe Ugly Flannel?

MinnieKat 09-01-2010 07:13 AM

I like Yellow Brick Road better, not so many different fabrics.

TammyD 09-01-2010 07:15 AM

My son is 29.

Can I ask why he wants an ugly one, instead of a good looking one? LOL!

TammyD 09-01-2010 07:16 AM

Ugly flannel I am not sure? Gaudy pattern. odd color? I am guessing what he wants.

TammyD 09-01-2010 07:17 AM

I don't know why he wants any ugly one. Maybe he think if he is rough on it, It won't matter so much?

I don't like turning 20, i am a huge yellow brick road fan. AND you can use as many or as few colors as you like. There are NO RULES!

But don't tell the Quilt Police i said that, I'll deny it. :D

It's funny you should start this thread. My oldest son asked me for one of my "old ugly" quilts for his new apartment. I told him he could have any one he wanted but his response was " I don't want the dog, cat, or me to ruin it". They both sleep with him.
Boys are so cute, no matter what age :D
