I keep telling myself I have to "earn" time on the board but working on my UFO's - well.........it's not really working for me! :D

I've been trying to give myself a time limit. But then I get interested in something and don't want to stop. Lately I've been watching the mares, saw one live fowling birth, along with the eagles, mama, papa, and their three eggs, hatching and now watching them grow with the 24/7 live cams.

Oh, I know what you all mean! :lol: I've been thinking we need an audio version *vbg* so we could quilt while enjoying the board, too. :lol: Of course, with several daily breaks from sewing to view all the wonderful creations!! :D

Amen to that! Start off my morning with reading posts and my latte....and then am startled to find out an hour has passed me by!

I wonder what i used my pc before finding QB because now i only find myself flipping pages between email and QB to read comments on feedback DH always asking what's you reading Frankie :) OR he can hear little laugh from me and ask what's funny:) honestly this page is very addictive but in a good way i have finished a few project since finding QB:) it's very encouraging specially for new quilters my coffee usually gets cold because i get so involve reading one comment to another :)

I am soooo lucky. I have to have a back molar pulled today. The root is in the sinus cavity so it's major surgery. Yes, I'm going to sleep. However, I will have 3 to 5 days recovery at home, sitting in my recliner with my laptop, on the quilting board. Doc has ordered my to take complete rest for at least two days because I take a blood thinner and he doesn't want me to bleed. Sure beats solitaire.

This is the best place, by far. If I really need to get something done, I set a timer. LOL Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't.

I know for a fact that I'd have a lot more quilts done if I didn't know about this Board... but, I would not have found a number of shortcuts and tips that have made my quilting easier and much more fun.

It is the truth and yet if you don't read you wonder what you are missing.

When I first started on QB I was puzzled by the comments about how long people spent on the Board, since it never took me longer than about 20 minutes to look at all the posts. Then, (weeks later)I noticed the page numbers on the bottom right hand side--I had only ever been reading page one! Now, like most people, I ration myself and only read all entries for a few favourite topics -- otherwise half the day would be gone.

Don't you just love it!!! I NEED this board and a cup of coffee every morning. I just can't seem to manage without both.

oh yeah this IS addicting.....I was late picking up a friend to take her to an appointment the other day because I lost time on this board.....luckily she was still able to be seen and all went well....and NOW I'm back on the board again (but nobodies waiting on me today)!!!

I spend so much time here reading that my hubby says he knows where I am when I disappear for any length of time. Is that bad or what?

Oh gosh, me, too. I put the coffee on while my computer boots up. Then it's board talk for the next 2 hrs. or so. I try to earn my qb time by rushing through my chores. Today I'm trying to pack the car for my trip home so I put a few things in the trunk & here I am again. Now I'll go pack my sewing stuff then I'll be back. I am so pathetic but it sounds like I'm definitely not alone.........It always amazes me at how many members are online when I am.

Repeat after me I AM NOT ADDICTED I AM NOT ADDICTED Now don't you feel better :lol:
