You know you're a quilter when you are on vacation in a beautiful old hotel and find yourself taking pictures of the carpets and your sister says, "Quilt pattern, right?"

When you take pictures of tiled floors and archways, also flowers and plants when on holidays.

That actually happened to me last Friday at my local Jo-Ann's Fabrics. There was a big sale and I was treating myself to the texture of some lovely red patterned cottons when the lady came up to me and said 'your hands had better be clean!'

Oh, is that funny! When did the quilt police come into the kitchen?

You know you are a quilter when you wake up in the middle of the night and can't get back to sleep so you start designing quilts in your head or think of all the UFO"S you still have!
