I have way to many remnants that I have collected over quite a few years and I never think to use them. Even though I check the bins and I have resisted buying anymore of them.

Remnants seem to be almost obsolete in my part of the world. Fabric stores are almost extinct too. We do have one local quilt shop but they have very few remnants as they cut any small pieces into fat quarters and then bag up the "scraps" and put a price on that little collection. At any time there are no more than six or seven "remnant collections" in the basket. Fabricland (30 miles away and my closest) never seems to have anything in their bin that I would even be tempted to bring home. My best source of remnants is my friend's sister who sends a big bag of stuff home with Connie a couple of times a year and she is generous and shares with me!

Just last night my husband and I went to JA's for some stiffer-than-I-had pellon. It is for wine bags - to sell at the Green Market. While there I found wine bottle fabric... had to get some, of course. I just wanted one yard... a peice was already cut 1 yd. 15 in. I got the one yard (30% off sale) and the 15 inches for 30% off and then 50% off that!! :)

I love remnants---and I frequently use them for bindings!

However you can get it cheap works for me!

Count me as a "Junkie" I make a lot of scrappy quilts and they come in handy

I love to get short pieces from the thrift shop!

I am part of the remnant hunt club. I started my stash from remnants and I am a great lover of scrap quilts.

They are high here also use to get great buys at Hobby Lobby on them and marked down fabric but never find any anymore and WalMart remnants are out of this world I think just buy them because they are in remnant bin and do not really figure out the price.
