Actually, there are some who only work on one project at a time UNTIL finished. I am not one of those. Heavy sigh!

I think alot of longarmers turn out to be 'toppers' because we leave ours till after the customer quilts are done.

I like to finish them.

I am a topper too!

I had about 16 tops in the closet 2 years ago, and sent them all out to be professionally machine quilted. I got a discount for having so many done at the same time but it was still a huge expense. I was very broke for a while afterwards, but felt good about getting them finished.

If it is left up to me I usually hand quilt about one a year, but average between 6 and 8 quilt tops a year. I have accumulated quite a few again so I need to start saving up to have them quilted.....

I guess I should learn how to machine quilt. Maybe one day.

I am one of those who does not start a second project till the first one is finished in full.
