PM's, Watched Topics, then Unread Topics then I have to rush to get ready for work!

First do "MAIN" then "RECENT".

I just work my way through from the beginning

Classifieds, Recent topics, classifieds, unread topics... :)

I used to check the messages in the way you mentioned. Now I check the unread topics. It's much faster as everything I haven't seen is all right there.

That's how I do it too.

Recent topics, general chit-chat and then whatever else looks interesting. I save the "eye-candy" (pictures) for last so I'm inspired to go sew!
