My first quilt was a queen size,"Rob Peter To Pay Paul", in two colors. Then several years passed, and I started to seriously learn about quilting, starting with nine patches and blocks from Quilters Cache.

My first block was made back when we used templates and scissors. It was called Dutch Rose and I pieced it by hand. It's actually a star block. Very pretty.

A flower basket, for a wall-hanging I made for my mom when she became an RN at the tender age of 57 . Her degree was much more impressive than my block, that's for sure!
