I like three the best, because of the way you have the blue in the secondary block.

#1 is my favorite

They all look great but I like number 3 the best. Nice job

I like 3 the best - but would probably use green strips in place of the browns - like you have done with the blue strips in 4. ... so basically suggesting a fifth variation.
Looks like a great project. Cheers, K |
It sounded like you wanted to break from the traditional (#1) and wanted to incorporate blue, so I think you should go for #3. Number #1 is very nice, but the color combinations are expected.

I like 2 and 3. The suggestion of Autumn sky really works with the fall theme, and the contrast of the cool blue and the warm orange/gold/rust colors add another dimension to the quilt.

I like #4 best if you want to incorporate some blue,
but I do have a suggestion - try switching the placement of the blue and the green. In other words, try a green sashing around the blocks, with blue in the little space you now have green. Also, make the green more of an olive and the blue not quite so bright and see how you like that - just my thoughts. If you used no blue, I do like #1 best. Marcia |
I like the second.
|
I vote #3

One more thought - unless you are dead set on blue,
try purple. It is a GREAT fall color and would really add some life to it. I do think you need green in there also to balance it out and not make it look too monotone, but purple, or even a blueish purple would really make it pop. Marcia |
