Default problem with sewing machine

I have a Brother CS 600i Sewing Machine, and this morning while sewing it stopped. The hand wheel works, and I've turned it on and off a few time to try to get it working, it still calibrates so I don't think it's a problem with the motor, and I've only had it for a year. The button to make the needle go up and down isn't working either. HELP!!! What do I do?

If it were me I'd take it to Brother authorized repair shop - they are the one's who are going to be able to help you. Check in your area to see if there are any Sewing and Vacuum shops around. If so, they will most likely have a technician trained to repair your machine.

LOL, I had the opposite problem once. The darn thing kept sewing even when my foot was off the pedal, thought I had found a feature I didn't know about. Come to find out the cord got stuck in the pedal.

Such an easy fix for your problem. To avoid future "cat" problems you can give her a basket with her own quilt to lay in. I did that for my cat and she is so happy and does less quilt inspecting.
