Default Project for me

I finished the t shirt quilt for my daughter, and now am working on a project for me. I'm attaching (I hope) a photo of some of the fabrics I'm using from my stash. They all have memories for me. The yellow with pink flowers and the blue, green, and pink flowered one are from dresses my mom made in the 70's. Anyone else working on something just for them?

Oh, aren't those cheerful fabrics! Please show us your progress with this project. My next project will be new kitchen curtains with moose fabric. It really is for me. The ones we have up now I made for my mother in law and she loved them but now it's time for something new.

I finished a large double bed sized quilt for us a couple of weeks ago. I have 3 others for our bed and a comforter. I have about 14 -15 twin or so quilts I haven't donated or given away yet. I make so many I can't store them all, so I donate or give them away.

My snowman appliqued quilt will be mine when it is done. The top is very close to finished. Hoping to have it quilted by Dec. 1st.

Those are some cheery fabrics. Memories abound...

I'm working on a birdie quilt just for me--my guest bed is a queen in my sewing room. It might end up a queen or I might stop it at throw size. It's a lot of fun being all scrappy so it wouldn't surprise me if it grows and grows...

Not yet. Three bindings to go and then I'll choose something for me. I have finished some small wallhanging type projects lately, and it was nice to work on something small for a change.

Your chosen fabrics are very pretty. Please show us the quilt you make for yourself. I keep saying I am going to do that-but I haven't yet. Everyone in my family has a quilt and I keep borrowing them when I snooze on the sofa. Maybe, another day!
