    Default propeller quilt

Found this patter stating it was a propeller quilt NO directions other than the numbers. Ok I get that the number 1's are one color and 2's are a second color BUT...what next after I make this block. How do I put it together and NOT with quilting thread....My Daddy would have given me that answer.

This site shows the pieces in the block. If the HSTs were made 4" finished, and the square pieces were 2" finished you would have a 10" block.

Pretty simple if you see that the numbers indicate the colours and not the shape of the pieces. The squares are added to the big triangles in the same colour.

It's also known as Broken Arrows. Here's a pattern for the block Broken Arrows. Here's another photo that I love of Lois's propeller quilt. I like it so much, I might even make it (I hate making HSTs).

Broken arrows and the link Gay for propeller quilt have the center different colored than OP. See https://www.generations-quilt-patter...ilt-block.html for the instructions for making like OPs

Thanks for the info on this quilt. I had the sinking feeling I'd never master this quilt with the pattern as I found it above but when I saw the quilt in full color it makes a lot more sense. https://www.colorwaysbyvicki.com/blo...peller-block#/ is where I found the color picture. From Gay.
