It does look small, and I don't see a cutting table or ironing station.
The first thing I noticed was that there was only one sewing machine. I gasped and thought, what have they done with this poor woman's other machines?

I agree---I did not see a cutting table of any sort. I need my Big board ironing board and a cutting table...DH made one like the wobbly one that JF sells...mine is made from wood and opens to 60" and folds down to 16". Love it!

The room does look small and if I read right it is only 1,000sqft house with 4bdrms and 2bathrms which makes all the rooms small.

I watched the show and couldn't wait to see the room. What a disappointment. They had talked about a design wall, but here wasn't one and I saw no place for her sewing or ironing station. And yes it was small. I think she will be back at the dining room table before long.

I'm just mortified that the budget for that room was $100,000.00....the walls, floors and windows were all already there. There are hardly and cabinets...must be the price for labor?? Good grief! That was the budget..did anyone see what the final cost was?

Just have to add that the PBS series about quilting (can't think of the name, but was mentioned in a recent post) claimed that there are 21.3 million quilters in the US. I would like to know how they arrived at that figure. Certainly far too many of them are missing out on the Quilting Board!

I'm kicking myself for missing the Property Brothers. Thanks for posting this. They do a lot of reruns on that channel.

Did any of you see one of the brothers actually sewing quilt pieces together? He said he was taught to sew as a kid. He did good.

There are lots of quilting rooms on Pinterest. Just search the board. Great ideas also.
