fabric cutters
Has any one used an electric material cutter? Does it cut straight? what kind do you use? I had a shoulder operation and I cannot cut my fabric, and I am making a quilt for a wedding shower.

I remember my mother having electric scissors many decades ago (60's - 70's). If I remember correctly, they weren't too bad as long as they were sharpened correctly. Not sure that is what you are looking for or if they can even be purchased anymore beyond a thrift shop or yard sale.

I know that a friend of mine (lives in another state) is taking her fabric to be cut by her LQS. Is there a friend who can help you?? I don't think there is any way to use an electric cutter to cut straight.
