jhittle needles are 50 per box (5 needles per card, 10 cards per box). Still a good deal. I have ordered from them several times, and always been satisfied. I would order more often if their web site were not such a nightmare to navigate. And their emails are even worse. But if they have what you want, chances are it will be a good price.

I have bought from both JHittles and ebay. Good deals at both places.

Thanks for the JHittle recommendation. I just bought a box of 100 Universal needles ($24) and 2 spools of Aurifil thread (slightly less than other places, but not by much).

I should be stocked up on needles for a good while now! I've been using quilting needles for quilting, but lots of people say Universal work just fine- and they are cheaper too! So except maybe batiks, I think I should be good to go!

I use the quilting needles for quilting. They do very well.

When I'm lazy, I leave them in and use them for piecing, too. LOL

I belong to a group on yahoo that buys in bulk from the manufacturer and sells at cost to members. I can usually get all I need for a year with one go at it. Go to Yahoo Groups and search for needle coop. Now if they only had a group for buying rotary blades in bulk....they don't but I do usually get a good deal from Jhittle.

I buy bulk Organ Titanium needles here but they sell Schmetz brands too. : http://www.ctsusa.com/ the Schmetz are about $25 per 100. http://www.ctsusa.com/_e/Schmetz/pro...le_Needles.htm

I scour the internet for the best prices when I need/want to buy something. I stop and think where does JHittle get their products? It takes a little research but most info is online with creative searching. This is the best price for machine needles I have found in the last few years. I bought enough sewing machine needles to last me the rest of my life from this site when they were much cheaper some years ago. Buy enough when you find a bargain and never worry about high price again.
