Default purchasing machine needles in bulk

Does anyone know where to purchase Schmetz sewing machine needles in bulk at a reasonable price? The company I used to purchase needles from no longer sells them. And buying needles in those small packages gets quite expensive over time. Thanks.

I recently received an email from redrockthreads.com about 100 needle packages of Schmetz needles. Here's the link.

When I last bought a box of 100 needles (admittedly, several years ago) I am pretty sure I paid less than $40. Oh, for the good old days! I will most likely purchase needles from Red Rock; I already buy Aurifil thread from them. But I sure wish I could find needles cheaper than that! Thanks for the input.

Wow - JHLittle is a much better deal. Thanks for the reminder. And they sell Aurifil too.

Well, thanks, WandaVA - I just ordered needles from J. Hittle. Didn't find the bargain you found (I was looking for Micro-Tex sharps) but still the best price I had seen anywhere. And they also have Aurifil thread; not much less expensive than RedRock but at least I won't be paying shipping on two different orders. That place has a ton of stuff I would like to have; I am sure I will be going back again soon. Thanks again.

Sun, I noticed the specialty needles were higher priced. The universal needles were 14.95 or thereabouts. I agree with you, lots of stuff I'd like to have to. Thanks for asking the question.

What is J. Hittle's shipping charge? I can't find anything on their website.
