I was roaming around Lowes Home Improvement this afternoon while DH shopped and came across these boxes in the home storage section. I think they would be perfect for fabric collection or WIPs. They are on Lowes web site, called KIS Medium Purple Flower Tote. Only $4.98, 6.7" tall x 15.7" x 13.38" There has been some recent discussion about what we use to sort and store fabrics and projects, so thought I would share this find. If I didn't already have a bunch of containers, I'd buy these in a flash.

Are they opaque? I don't mind tinted plastic, but I really like to see what is in my containers.

Cute! Silly question maybe but does it have handles that fold out of/into the lid? Says it's a "tote", so wondering about that.

Pretty Box. Hmmmmm maybe I will have to try and make a special trip to Lowes. Don't have one in town but it's only 13 miles away. Have to hit the traffic at the right time or it could take 40 min to get there!!!

This is not about the purple flower box, but about the quilt in your avatar. It is gorgeous & I love it. What pattern is it?

CraftyBear and Grama Lehr - it only comes in the purple color

Misty Marie - I don't remember them being too dark to see into, but I could be mistaken.

Ginakra - there were no handles.

Weesie - Thank you for your kind comment about my avatar quilt. This was a batik quilt I made for my oldest daughter. It was adapted from a pattern called "Kaleidoscope" in a book from Leisure Arts called "Encyclopedia of Classic Quilt Patterns" published in 2001. We added the sashing because we didn't do a very good job of picking out light fabrics so all the hidden circles would pop out. It just need some place for the eyes to rest and the sashing gave us that.

Thank you! The sashing is the perfect thing! Very clever.
