As every one knows, my boys and I took on the Famer's Wife Sampler quilt this summer. Our goal had been to get the queen sized quilt done. Or at least the blocks. All 111 blocks in the book.

Wellschool starts in 13 hours and we only got 55 blocks done. Half of the needed blocks. I contempalted making a quilt with what we had, the 55 blocks, but decided to hold off and work on it when ever the kids weren't in school and continue to work towards the Queen sized quilt.

So it is offical, the Famer's Wife has been set aside for now. I've got a lap quilt (Yin Yang) a Full sized (Twister) ten rug mugs and a few wall hangings to finish up for Christmas.

We will get back to the Farmer's Wife Sampler, rest assure all the ladies who gave us fabric. But I need to get to work on stuff I need for the craft show and for Christmas. The FWS quilt with teh boys is for my bed so it can wait.

Thanks for the time it took to read this.

I understand how busy things get when school starts. Maybe the boys can commit to sewing a couple hours every weekend. It seems like I have to schedule sewing time lately. It eventually gets done, it just takes longer.
