Puzzled
#92
My dear maternal g'mother and I would do puzzles when I stayed there in the summertime. We always laughed when she would say "when I'm old and in a nursing home, you'll come see me and bring puzzles." She never was in a NH, rather died in hospital after a short illness. She was not much of a stitcher.
My paternal g'grandmother was the quilter. I also spent time with her when growing up, but I don't remember her doing much sewing then. She did have a ceiling mounted quilting frame which always fascinated me. Never saw it in use. Guess maybe her quilting days were behind by then.
I still enjoy both, quilting and jigsaw puzzles! Thanks grandmas!
