    Actually, no, that's not the one. Mine has a round hoop and is made entirely of wood, including the swivel ball. However, the Grace is probably the closest one on the market today to the one I have. The Grace hoop is square and includes some plastic.

    I love my Q snap floor frame for hand quilting. I sit a chair on each side and move as I complete each side. I hand quilt with my right hand with the rocking stitch but I also can quilt away from myself using my thumb and pointer finger. I also have a rectangular smaller hand Q snap for doing borders.

    at the top of your arc, pull 1/2 of your thread (no knot) then quilt down one side. Then thread your needle back where you left the tail of the thread and quilt down the other side.
