    This does not eliminate the possibility of machine satin stitching over the needle turn applique.

    Well, thanks for all the suggestions. I thought I replied earlier but don't see the reply. Will try giving Charisma a pm and let you know what I find out.

    Hi Sissy,
    Isn't that Fabulous? That was the first time I had ever seen that as well. ..Elaine had needle turn appliqued all those vines and leaves...then she took a navy blue embroidery thread and embroidered around each applique to give it some depth.....I thought it added alot.
