Do I square up my 9 patch blocks before I cut them apart, or do I square up my blocks after they have been sewn back together?

I also want to thank you quilters for the spray starch hint. I love the look and feel of my blocks.

Thank you so much, that was what I was thinking, but wanted to be sure. It's always better to ask and I can always trust an experienced quilter.

I would square them up both times too, that way your final block will look nicer. Just squaring up at the end, you don't have the chance to adjust your seams, like you can if you check/square up your first pieces to the block :D:D:D
