I have also cut bias strips using the AQ die system and a half yard of fabric.

Thank you for these links! Not having the AQ die system, I will try the folding used in the first video.

Does anyone have any tips for cutting those bias strips? Or do I need to go back to just plain cutting a piece of fabric on the bias, many times, using a ruler, and then sewing them all together??
Sadly I cant either. I either use my Accuquilt and sew t hem together or my june taylor shape-cut. I tried the cylinder method once very sad results. Even a ruler and rotary cutter produces decent strips. I feel ya.

This is the method I use to cut bias strips for binding. It's quick and easy.
