Question about relaxing batting before use

I have tried it and doesn't seem to help. I go ahead and use it out of the package, after quilt is quilted, washed and dried, It looks good to me and can't tell how wrinkly the batting started out .

My batting is on a rol and I only have the seam to contend with so I will lay it out but only for a few hours. Depending on the weather it will lay down.

Me, too. And it does make it easier to sandwich.

I usually forget to lay it out so I just throw it in the dryer for a few minutes. I use the dryer balls so it knocks it around and keeps it from bunching up too much. Has always worked fine for me.

I try and get it out when I buy it by the bag.....I now buy it on the roll, but I still lay it out to straighten it and measure it for sure and it always seems to need some adjusting
