I recently got the Brother 1034D. While not as easy to thread as the lovely Babylock the price of the Babylock is 25 times that of the Brother. I learned to tie the new thread to the old one and pull through. Also use search feature because we have discussed sergers recently and you can get even more info. I do like mine

I have a singer ultralock serger and love it. Hurricane Katrina destroyed my first one. I use it a lot for quilting and sewing, but threading can be difficult. My mom tells me that baby lock is the best.
