Need some block patterns...HELP
#1
I just signed up for my first Round About in my guild. Each of
us do a block a month for someone else's quilt. At the end we
will all have 12 blocks. I am new to quilting and need some easy to do blocks. Something with no more than 3-4 shapes
to cut out and a 12X12 finished block. I found some blocks
but they are the wrong size and don't know how to do the math to make them larger. Is there a formula out there you know about?

Most of Eleanor Burns pattern books are for 12 inch finished blocks. They are always easy.
You can make many different blocks with just half square triangles. Add flying geese and there are many more.

Check out this link-it is a block resizing calculator.
Simply enter the size of the pattern, and the size you want to end up, and it will do the math for you.
Then go to a copier, and choose reduce percentage. You applique will be perfectly sized!
