LOL - Tiffany, I can honestly say that if I wanted an honest opinion from someone about something, you would be the first one I'd ask !!! I know I would get an honest answer.
Some of my family members will tell you it isn't always a benefit to get an honest answer out of me. I don't ever mean to be cruel and I hate the thought of hurting someone's feelings, so I do my best to be diplomatic!

Friend: Do you like my new dress?
Me: (Undiplomatic) - Ew, no! It makes you look fat. (Not the correct response!)
Me: (Diplomatic) - It doesn't look as flattering on you as your black and red dress but it does set off your eyes. (Unless it doesn't, then I can't say that. :| )

Tires for the car. They are so bald right now that people actually come up to us and tell us that we need new tires. It's really embarrassing.

I had a mechanic checking something else out on my car and
he cut his hand on the metal sticking out of my tire!! It was on the side I couldn't see so I didn't know it. He told me to go get
new tires first and then bring the car back and not to drive far on those tires.

Oh, I can totally relate! My poor car is so bad people stare when I drive. Also, the speedometer, gas guage, and the lights on the dash don't work, and the transmission is going out and it leaks. Now, in my defense, I got it from my SIL in this condition so it isn't my fault. I figure I'll drive it until it dies and hopefully by then I can afford to get something else. As long as it gets me back and forth to my guild meetings, Bees, and the quilt store I figure I'm doing good!

I'd put it toward plane tickets to bring my DD and DGD to us for Christmas. Rat fink hopefully soon-to-be EX-SIL revealed he'd been having affair for 7 months with mother of 5 who is also local politician (hopefully about to be EX P)3 weeks before before DD's birthday. Shall I say GF's name and the town? The word is already out, but I probably don't want to be acused of slander etc etc - - -

OK...this thread is haunting me. You asked what I would do if I had $150.00....I made a comment that I would help people in the grocery. While that is a nice thought....I felt kinda like I was "all hat....no cattle". The fact is that I do have some cash I can afford to use. So what is stopping me?...I've decided that nothing is. Today I started looking for my candidates....I will be sharing some cash surprizes with a few people who appear to need it. I can't do 6 people this year, but I can start with a few. So thanks ya'll for making me feel like you were calling me on this one.
