An again hello everyone, KalamaQuilts, I've read that before about replacing that bottom filter, I have been putting that off for years.
OnebyOne, thank you for your suggestion, but my problem is I have two black cases and one celery case and in no hurry to do anything different with them. I've lived alone since the passing of my late husband and just recently moved in with the (Gen-X). I've downsized to the limit for now

Jordan, glad that this information helps, now I am aware as to who uses the 'vintage board'.
Sewbizgirl, thanks for your suggestion, I can pick up 'odor-eaters' from WalMart, there is no need for me to go to the Pet Shop, I don't own one
