Quote: I just purchased a Juki2010Q, I love it! My advice is before you buy online, check with your local dealer. Mine matched internet pricing, showed me how to thread it and set it up. Now I have a local adviser and service.
i have the 2010q as well. I bought from a dealer, and they also matched internet pricing. I sat down and sewed for a while before I bought it. I've had it four months now, and am still happy with my decision.

I know they're calling this a "long arm" but it's not. If you're looking for a reasonable priced machine, with a lot more room, I would suggest the Bailey, they have a sit down version or a frame. They have good customer service and quite often offer free shipping to the lower 48 states. They also have "classroom" machines that have a limited amount of hours that are offered at below new prices. A Bailey will be what I get, when I have the room and the money.

I know of someone who used a Juki 2010Q with a 9" X 6" harp area on a Grace frame and made many king and queen quilts on this setup. She said she quilted about 5 inches at a time. The king roll was tight in the harp but it worked. She just recently got a Bailey long arm.
