    Thanks everyone. I have stabilized it with basting stitches..so onward I go, I guess!

    We use a zipper system to attach our quilts to leaders. Forget what brand. We have several sets. .if you need to take one off...just unzip!

    I use zippers from Quilting Connection in Elkhorn WI. Best thing ever and they will ship to you. Good luck!
