Question re basting spray

Can 505/basting spray be used with polyester batting (a slightly high loft) or only with cotton batting?

are there indications on the can? You can always try on a piece of scrap.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot, didn't say on the can and it is a bit pricey so I didn't want to waste any!

thanks, all, worked great, I am thinking I spray too heavily, though. Well, off to try quilting it now!
