QUESTIONS about a Grace GMQ Pro Frame
THANKS for all replies to this plea.
This is listed on CL for $350.
Is that a good price?.
She says original price was $1200. (1 year old) & been used only once.
What do I need to look for it to include?
I know nothing about the frames (I am a Hand Quilter).
Will it work with a 301A -or- FW?

I have the same frame. You need to have a large room to put it in it is 12'long and need room to walk onboth sides and one end and it has to stay set up all the time it is all wood and needs to be level. I did pay 1200for mine alsowith stitch regelator.you willneed 4 alumium poles and hope it includes some planks with quilting patterns on them with a pointer to go in groves to quilt by. If it has the wood carriage then it has not been up graded. It is wobbly when you quilt with wood one. You have to be able to walk down side to quilt on it. The black tracks the carriage rides on wear out and you can get more ordered from grace. That is a good price for it but the fw or 301a is too small of machine to use. I have a 9" throat machine and wish I had a larger one I can only quilt about 3" pattern and have to roll each time. You will need to take someone with you to look and if take apart it is a LOT of pieces to it to put back together.
