I use the June Tailor from WM. $8.00 a can and I'm on my 3rd wall hanging. Have echo quilted all 3 with a lot of smushing through the machine and have never had to reapply.

Just make sure that the can says temporary spray adhesive for use with fabrics.
There are some craft sprays that also say temporary adhesive, and they will NOT work. They can make your fabric bleed, and do not wash out completely, either...

BTW meant to say 505 costs 9.90€ here in Spain equates to around 13.50$. Just looked to see where its made and its made in France, so hence the big difference in price, exporting is expensive.

If you are a member of The Quilt Show (with Ricky TIms and Alex Anderson) Go to the classroom and click on Patsy Thompson. She has a wonderful video on spray basting. You may be able to see the same video on her site.

I especially like to use it on smaller quilts, then I don't have to pin at all or very little.
I used Sullivans too. It works well and you can reposition as needed without respraying. One can does about three king size quilts. I always buy it on sale at Hancock Fabrics.

Someone is making a large profit then. I was really surprised when I bought it as I thought it was going to be really expensive here, turns out for once I win which makes a change heh.

I use Tailor spray (June Tailor, Inc.) basting from Joanne Fabrics and have experienced no problem. One can does two to three quilts, depending on their size. The cost was $10.99.

Simply Quilts is a really good site. So is The Quilt Show. I think both feature Alex Anderson. Patsy does a really good job with her video
