Smile Quick Point PraIrie Points Problem

I bought a 1 1/2 Prairie Points Ruler years ago and haven’t yet figured out how to match it up with the quilt at the end. Does anyone have one of these? My quilt is 70 1/2 inches square. The ruler is going to be ending at 71 inches. Any help on this problem will be much appreciated.

osewme, I have looked at all the videos by the maker and others and no one shows how to make them fit. There has to be a way.......

With old fashioned prairie points, you adjusted to make them fit by tucking each point in or out down the edge until you got them right. I don’t know how to adjust the new ones but you could make a design feature in the centre of each strip to adjust. Perhaps make a larger point in the centre of the side?

I haggled the ruler around on each end of the fabric and moved the cutting line slightly every other cut. Kinda like easing in a border to make it fit. So when I folded each piece to make the points, it doesn’t show any difference. Thank you all for helping me.

so glad you got it! I have watched those tutorials but simply can't "get it". I just made individual ones.

I just do the 'old fashioned' ones probably easier in the long run.
