I'm going to a retreat this week-end and 2 friends and I decided to start this quilt from an Eleanor Burns book. I'm hoping for advice and tips from anyone who has made this quilt. Thanks.

I made several of these quilts when I first started making quilts and they were very easy to make. Her instructions are very clear on what to do.

Thank you both. I'm glad to hear it is quick and easy. That's what we wanted for the retreat, something we don't have to think too hard about! And I will have fun. Thanks.

Have fun! I made one and they are easy the way Eleanor does it. Please share a photo of your project.

My only advice based on the one I made using her method is...don't use a solid for what will end up being the center block. I used a darkish blue and the seam was very noticeable in the middle of it. I wished I'd used a print instead. It's a very easy way to do one and goes together very quickly. Good luck and have fun!
