    If you have a consistent seam allowance, then perhaps it may be possible. however, if not, then even the "same" blocks will not result in exactly the same size top and bottom. if you are to try it, i would consider tack stitching (like tying a quilt) in the corners and other specific intersections so that you can make sure it lines up properly. I am not brave enough or confident enough or patient enough to tackle such a thing, but if you want to do it, then I know there will be a way to make it happen!
