I never signed up for any of the catalogs, but seem to get them all. Clotilde, Keepsake, Connecting threads and a few others. I just started getting Nancy Notions and didn't sign up for it either. The other three I have received since signing up for Quilters Newsletter and Quiltmaker in the 80's. Think I may have gotten Nancy's Notions from ordering fabric online.
I have to say I am not excited about the popular colors this year. Especially what Connecting Threads is highlighting. I liked the 30's reproductions, buy not liking the this years. Look like old 50's, yuck. Maybe because that is the era I was born. LOL

I didn't like any of the colors in the Connecting Threads catalogue either. I prefer Moda or Amy Buttler fabrics. I am holding out for my local quilt fair in March. I like to see the fabrics and touch them before I buy. I plan to stock up at the fair. But the catalogues so much fun.

Whew, glad it was not just me. My first thought was the quilts looked like old quilts that had been stored and aged.

Connecting Threads catalog does have bad color pictures. I guess it's to keep the cost down. The fabric doesn't look that drab in person at least not to me. I guess the designer of their fabric doesn't like bright colors. I hope they change that this year.
