    Default Life's a stitch, LLC.

I placed an order for a quilt kit from Life's a stitch, LLC. in Unionville Connecticut, that I payed for through pay pal. I'ts been posted on my charge card, but not one word of communacation from them. I called the number on there web sight and it's not in service, I've e-mailed them, but still no response. Does anyone know if there still in business?

That's strange. . . Their policy states that orders ship within 3 business days. You might want to send them an email; they have a "contact us" link at the top of the page. How long has it been since you placed your order? They have had 2 complaints with the BBB because of delivery issues.

Um, my guess - and it's just a guess - is that they're not in business anymore and someone forgot to take down their website.

They're promoting EQ6 without listing the price (per an MAP agreement), and their per yard price for fabric is around $8.50-$9.00

Both of those conditions haven't been necessary or valid for years - maybe even 4 or 5.

And their NEW fabrics ain't so new.

But not to worry or panic - you paid via credit card.
Wait until you get billed for it - not just that it your account as pending, and file a claim with your credit card company.
The charge will be reversed while they're investigating, and will be credited when they're done.
You won't have to pay a cent.

OOC, how did you come across them?
Was it just a Google search for a specific fabric?
Or was it through an old blog post or other link?

Just a note: there is a quilt shop called Life's a Stitch in Janesville, Wi. This is not the same place. I know the original poster did mention it as a Connecticut store but wanted to clarify. For a bit I was confused because I had just seen the WI store at WI Quilt Expo.Have no connection with either store - just wanted to point out the difference because I was fooled until I read more carefully.

Since you paid thru PayPal, you can enter a claim with them and they will contact the seller. Then if they can't get a satisfactory resolution, PP will refund your money. It may take a little bit to get a refund but this is one advantage of paying thru PP. Just go to the PP site and follow the links. It should give you all instructions plus the length of time in which to enter a claim. Hope this helps!!
