Default Quilt Yard LLC closing

I just received a group email from Betty & Jack Cotton, developers of the Cotton Theory method of quilting, that they closed their business Oct 10. In the emails were instructions if you had orders pending, for their teachers, various types of customers, etc.
It sounds sad, apparently something happen that left them no choice, and they were apologizing.
I had seen them at an expo, demoing their products & in April our guild had one of their teachers here for a day long class & a luncheon the next day. Very beautiful technique.

I don't know anything about those mentioned but it is always sad when something like this happens. It must be something really serious for them to close without giving notice. Last Sunday we drove out of town to one of our favorite breakfast spots and drove up to an empty parking lot and the words "CLOSED -- THANKS" on the marquis. We had eaten there two weeks before and everything seemed to be running as usual.

It was certainly sudden. It did sound as though they had no choice. I love her patterns and I hope for the best for them.

Wow. As someone who lived in Osseo for a time and really hit my quilting stride due to the Quilt Yard, this makes me super sad. Did the newsletter say what the issue was?

Sounds like it could be heath issues, I have seen her on sewing with Nancy and she is not young.
