Default Quilt in a Day Flying Geese rulers ?

My rulers are slipping when I cut out my geese. For those who use these rulers what do you do? EB has one use Invisigrip. Is that a good thing, or do you have other suggestions?
Thanks

You can buy stick-on dots at places like JoAnn's, that may help.
Another thing that sometimes helps me when a ruler wants to slip is pressing down on it with my whole hand, not just fingertips.

I was having trouble with slipping templates at a retreat and my table mate told me I was pressing too hard. Sounds strange to say press lightly but it worked. When I cut down more than against, problem solved.

I use Nexcare tape on all my rulers. They have more grip than Invisigrip and cheaper.

I found out later that ordinary vinyl that is sold by the length on long rolls at Walmart and JAF work just as well as Invisigrip. Just a lot cheaper. I cut mine just an 1/8" smaller than the ruler size.

Easypeezy Is there a particular type of Nexcare you use and how/where do you apply it?

I use Nexcare tape on all my rulers.
That is what I use too. But to be honest the best non slip is the Rule Steady(or the SlideLock version).

i found that martelli rulers and templates are the best for non-slip. they take a bit more time to get on the fabric correctly but then they stick 'like glue' and the fabric is in place. they're expensive but they work well and now there's a 50% off sale through Sunday.

Mine says "Plastic" and it's the clear one. You'll see that it has like a fine grid on it. It's not smooth
like Scotch tape. Maybe not it's called Flexible Clear. I just put one long strip along the edge
(doesn't have to be too close to the edge) and one in the middle or one on each side...just
where I feel it needs it...on the wrong side of the ruler of course. It's easy to apply...just like
regular tape.
