The mediums say they are 12 by 14... so that is still a good size. It just didn't say how deep they were.

    It isn't clear to me.
They are just a clear, zippered bag. I have several of the large ones. The larges will hold everything, fabric, thread. book, ect, for a large quilt top, and it is see through so it is easy to tell what is in it. I love my large ones, so mediums will be interesting.
HA!! I thought they were bags of 'medium' colored scarps!! Neutrals maybe. . . .

Ok, so now tell me why they might be better than say, a 1 or 2 gallon zippy?

    Please remember I'm new

I think they are more secure and sturdier if you take them out with you. I use them to collect all the of the fabrics for a project before I begin. So when I am on my way to the LQS I have all the fabrics, pattern, etc in one place.

I have some that have different store names on them. I'm not sure about the "EB made a stripper out of me" motif but $1.00 is an awesome price.

One of her books is called still "stripping after 25 years". I think she likes strip piecing.

    Yeah, that's it . . . .

I used to get truck parts the same way - by entertaining hubby.
