Default Quilt for dr retiring Dr. help with label

Made this quilt for the Dr at the hospice I am at. He's retiring after MANY MANY years. He even started the Hospice center. You probably can't see all the signatures. The staff wrote messages on the white squares. He is one very special Doctor.

Now I need to figure out what to write on the label. any ideas????

Throughout the years you've been a star in many lives. Now is the time to star in your life. Enjoy your retirement!

Throughout these years you've assisted others when they have new stars in their lives. Now is the time for you to enjoy starring in your life.

**I'm not sure I like the second line of this one. Maybe someone can fix it.

The threads of lives you have touched, have become the stitches of these stars.

I saw a couple of inspirational quotes that might be suitable.

"To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." Ralph Waldo Emerson

"It's not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing that matters."
Mother Teresa
