Default Quilt found on road near Tarboro, NC

Just passing this info along -

Quilt found on Hwy 64 near Tarboro. If it isn't yours, please pass on to your quilting friends. Owner's contact info is at end of message. ..."...On Sunday, June 21st, one of my neighbors found a quilt on the westbound lane of Hwy 64 near Tarboro, NC. She says the quilt was wrapped in one of those plastic blanket packages. The quilt appears to be newly made, in wonderful condition. She says it is hand and machine quilting. There is no label attached and she cannot find a signature. She wants to return it to its owner, as she is a needle worker, and says she would be sick if she lost one of her works.
Please pass this email around and if anyone knows anything, contact
Alison Boyette -- email her at [email protected]"

I remember a month or two ago, that someone had lost a tote off their car, with a quilt in it, along a highway, but can't remember where. I think I might have seen the post on facebook. Maybe someone can post this info on the QB FB page. Hope it gets back to it's owner.

I remember the lady that lost a quilt on the highway. It was a post on this board about it too. I replied so maybe I can find the post under my profile.

Isn't there a website for "lost quilts"? I thought I read it somewhere online. Forgive me if I'm wrong.

http://lostquilt.com/ Yes this is the website for lost quilts. Hopefully this will help if the person who lost it even knows about the website. Maybe the newspaper or contact the local quilt guilds.
