Monday I and 34 other quilters traveled to La Conner Washington. I had a great day, the weather was perfect. Great small town the people were so friendly and healpful. The best part of the trip and the reason we went was the Quilt Museum. Beautful quilts, some very old, some new, displayed in the beautiful setting of an old mansion that is being lovingly restored. They will have a show starting Sept 30. If you have a chance to visit La Conner do it! Had lunch at the farmers market, best burger I have in a long time. Merchants all treated us like old friends, very friendly and welcoming, even if I was just looking.

I love LaConner and they have the nicest quilt museum in a beautiful old home. They change the main exhibit frequently, just like a real museum! I wish I had been there with you, too! Where is Riverside, never heard of it...

We are about 10 miles north of Omak Wa. In north central Wa. Okanogan County, about 20 min south of Canadian border.
