Default Quilt with ONE color. tiny bit of accent colors

Quilt with mostly PINK which is not my fav color. Here ls the pattern. https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/easy...attern-2821825
Want to use up LOTS of pink jelly rolls. Lots of dif values, patterns, no patterns and tone on tone. May add some purple and gray. Muted white patterns, too..

So Q is...Have you ever done a one color quilt? I know what someone will say...lay out the strips on DB and step away.

The link leads to a jigsaw puzzle pattern -- is that right?

I haven't made a one-color quilt, but I always like the look of them.

Yes, that is the right link and the pattern I plan on using. It's a great pattern and really easy...once you make the first row.

I'm just wondering if there will be enough difference in values in your pinks. I would think they could end up blending together with no discernible pattern. It might end up being a real jigsaw puzzle to get each block to stand out.

I think if you have a good variety of textures, it will look great!

I'm with GingerK on this one. With so many pinks, it may be hard to see the pattern.

I think it would work fine if you cut and kit/stack each motif before you start piecing so you were sure your puzzle piece was all the same fabric. It does look simple. But my mind wonders why you bought enough pink fabric for a quilt when you don't like pink

The only one color quilt I've made was the reverse of my Dear Jane which I did in neutrals, but that was easy to design so each tone showed. I love it, but I wouldn't do another, I'd get bored.

I've done one and my trick was to use lots of different textures, even use the back side of some to get a different look. Don't have a picture to show but it turned out well. I did allow myself to use other colors as "lines" in some of the fabric - outline of flowers, etc.,

Here are a couple pictures of jigsaw quilts that are just a few colors.
