Default Quilt pattern help please

Can anyone tell me what this pattern is. Not a great picture, its an old quilt I would like to try to duplicate in spring colors. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what the name is but it would be very easy to copy from what I can see in the picture. It looks like 2 rectangles of different sizes joined together - then constructed by alternating the blocks.

Using the picture you posted it is very easy to duplicate as busy fingers stated. Each piece is the same height - just 2 different widths. So you could cut strips the same height then cut the pieces. i.e.: one would be 2.5 in x 5.5, the next one would be 5.5 x 5.5. in. You could sew them into strips or make a 4 patch then sew the 4 patch into strips. Which ever way you wanted to do.

It is really hard to tell with this closeup. I believe it is just a square with an attach rectangle that is the block. Looked at Google and didn't find anything similar.

Jenny's is one way to do it. Another way, which makes just a little different pattern, is to make a 9-patch, cut it in half right down the middle, and sew it back together after you exchange sides. Make lots of 9-patches, cut them, and find cute ways to put them back together. I just finished a charity quilt like this.

If it is an old quilt, it may not have a "pattern", just sewn together with what was available.
