Wanting to make " Stain Glass Window" Any help about what fabric is best to use?

Stained Glass Quilts
Which type pattern are you looking at? Squares and rectangles or a picture of something like a sea turtle?

I have used batiks. It is on my list to do another one. I have the pattern sitting out here somewhere.
