Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for a quilt block that has a hexagon center, six squares on the outer edge of hexagon and a triangle between each square. the block looks like a circle when sewn together.

Someone will know, if not tonight, then tomorrow. Sorry I can't help you. Good luck. It's out there.

http://quilterscache.com/J/JacksChainBlock.html, the plaid 9 patches could just be solid or whatever you choose. Hope this helps.

Oh thanks for posting this pretty block. The link has a comma at the end so didn't work, but here is the clickable link http://quilterscache.com/J/JacksChainBlock.html

Would make a very nice table topper too..

Does it look like this one? Scroll down to mid page and you will see 3 pattern ideas and you can see a better picture. This is the Tennessee Waltz pattern by Eleanor Burns.

This pattern is made with 4-4 patch squares, 4-triangle in squares and a single center block.

Here is a demo on the Triangle in a Square

That's it! Thank you so much. The quilt I saw did not make the nine patch but that would use even more scraps. Thanks for giving me the quilterscache website.
