Does anyone have a easy Bargello quilt pattern for a beginning Bargello quilter. If so, can you tell me where I can find it? Thanks for your help.

A scrappy, cutting tiny squares and sewing one at a time:

a simple baby bargello, that explains the strip method:

another strip method instruction:

I made a Bargello, using the strips, tube method - it was so simple. I just undid my seam where I wanted the colors to break - so don't do too tight of stitch!

I varied the width of my cuts after the tube was made and it resulted in a smoother curve to the valley and hills of the pattern.

I would love to see your Bargello when you get it done! Good luck.

I have the book Bargello Hearts. I have made several of these and find it very easy to follow the instuctions, the book is put out by Doheny Publications, Inc. and there phone # is (425)774-3761. That is where you might be able to order it from. good luck. Marge

One I like is with 2 pieces of fabric. You get one piece that has different colors hues through the length of the fabric (is that technically "variegated" or "color change"? Y'all know that type of fabric I mean. You then get a 2nd piece as an accent. Sew variegated - accent - variegated, and then do the cylinder trick (I'm sure that's explained somewhere on here or online), and cut the long strips and resew to make a Bargello

You get the Bargello effect but with a lot less work
